This is a sketch of a tattoo i designed and am thinking about getting... i've superimposed it onto a shot of my back... (no comments on that please). If anyone sees this who knows much about tats and thinks this is impossible to recreate with accuracy on this scale please let me know. Otherwise i would love to know what you think about the design. It is the outline of the march hare with his pocket watch being held in his left hand. The quote is my favorite from the book (Alice and Wonderland) and possibly my favorite of all time:
"I could tell you my adventures beginning from this morning, but its no use going back to yesterday, because i was a different person then." - Lewis Carroll
This is unreal! Such a great idea for a tat.
This is my tat, it is in storage on devArt so I hope you can view it: [link]
Anyway, it is very detailed and cost a lot to get it done, all that colour and fine lines... but it was worth it.
Shop around, go to a tattoo artist that a friend recomends. Mine is about 2 and a half years old now and still looks great - black is a little faded but is fine.
how big do you want the tattoo?
is it going to be on a shoulder on your back?
i think it's a really awesome design and idea...i see it every now and then but not soo often...its definatly origanal and kick ass!
you could totally get this done! just make sure you go and have a talk with the artist before the actual appointment to get it tatted...talk to them making sure they can do fine lines if its r eally small...find some one who specilized in small tattoos.
thanks, i should be getting it done in about a month or two once i have some money, its right to be near $250. Little pricey for me. I'll post the final shot.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
